Dr. Arráez Profile
Dr. Miguel Ángel Arráez, Specialist in Neurosurgery and Doctor in Medicine and Surgery, is the founder of the Arráez Institute of for Advanced Neurosurgery.
Dr. Arráez has more than 30 years of professional experience in Surgery of the Nervous System. After completing his training in Neurosurgery he complemented his neurosurgical education with several stages in centers of clinical excellence in Europe and USA. He improved sophisticated surgical techniques including minimally invasive surgical procedures in fields as diverse as spine conditions and tumours at the Nervous System. He has been a national pioneer in techniques such as Fluorescence Guide Resection of brain tumours. His professional career includes positions of responsibility serving in the most important neurosurgical international societies (see curriculum vitae). He also organized many congresses and scientific meetings related to Neurosurgery as well as participating in multiple events national and international events as invited lecturer and teacher. Currently is President of the Spanish Society of Neurosurgery, Chairman of the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies Foundation and Secretary of the World Academy of Neurological Surgeons.
